It was in Auto Expo held in February where the Hyundai Tucson 2020 SUV was first showcased. This stylish vehicle was finally launched in India on Tuesday at an introductory ex-showroom price of INR 22.3 lakh.
This is seen as an attempt for Hyundai in capturing the premium SUV segment, where the company has already made a significant mark in the compact and sub-compact SUV segments in India. What has been primarily highlighted in the launch of the Hyundai Tucson 2020 SUV is the visual exterior upgrades. This includes the sharper LED head-lights, redesigned tail-lights, the super-stylish 18inch diamond-cut alloys, and revamped fog -lights.
On the inside too, the company has made extra efforts in order to woo the customers in their first glance of the car itself. Specifications like an 8-inch HD infotainment unit and screen, eight-speaker system, six airbags for that extra safety, electronic parking brake, and of course the panoramic sunroof, are being highly appreciated ever since the launch.
Hyundai Tucson 2020 SUV also comes with a push-button start, wireless charging, front and rear parking sensors etc. which have already been seen in Hyundai’s lesser priced cars. The car is also ready to take on its rivals in the same segment, as it comes prepped up with Hyundai’s connected car technology – BlueLink. This technology allows a compatible smartphone or a compatible smartwatch to control car features like AC control, vehicle tracking, engine start/stop, etc.
Talking about the engine options available, the car comes in two variants, the 2.0-litre petrol engine and the 2.0 -litre diesel engine.Hyundai Tucson 2020 SUV promises to be a significant launch by the Hyundai.
