Diwali Vacations? Here are the destinations you must travel!

When there come the vacations, comes along the confusion of how to spend them the best way. With the festive season around the corner, its time again that we talk about travelling. Travelling is not just an experience of a new place and people around, but is a lifetime learning opportunity. Travelling helps you learn about the various cultures, traditions, diversity, colorful history and the amazing people around the country and the world. With the festive season and the bunch or holidays approaching, I bet you have been looking towards various places to visit and enjoy with your friends and family. Are you confused where to visit? Don’t you worry pals! Here’s your ultimate solution. Being an army kid, I was not only born in a place far away from my hometown but every three years, with my father getting transferred to a new place, also got the opportunity to learn about various places and discover more. So, today I am going to lead your way to the beautiful destinations, giving you some solid reasons why you must visit them.

  1. Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh: varanasi

Every year in the month of November, the holy city of Varanasi organizes a special event on the occasion on the festival of lights, Diwali. One could not only witness the crowd of devotees here but also various artists like Kailash Kher, Pandit Birju Maharaj, etc. performing live. The city stunningly lightens up during the festival and thus is on top of my list.

  2. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan: jaisalmer

Infamous as the desert state, Rajasthan seriously has a lot more to offer. The golden city of the state, Jaisalmer is a wonder. With the sand a little bit cooler during the month of November, it sets a perfect place to be at. One can enjoy night camping under the open sky and the twinkling stars and of course not to forget the desert safari.

  3. Sunderbans, West Bengal:sunderbans

As the monsoon bid a goodbye and winters are about to approach the state, this is the perfect time set to discover the thick forests all blooming with the rain that just got over. Sunderbans during the month of November, is such a delight to watch out. Here is one of the richest and the most balanced ecosystems of India.

  4. Manali, Himachal Pradesh:manali

This is one of the most visited places in the country and why not? Manali is my personal favorite too. Admits long pine trees and snowy mountains, the place leaves you awe-struck. The breathtaking beauty of the place will only give you memories to cherish forever.

  5. Coorg, Karnataka: coorg

This stunning place in the south of the country is a must visit. Why? Popularly known as the Scotland of India, Coorg is a small hill station in the beautiful state of Karnataka. The calm and scenic beauty of the place will not only leave you wonderstruck but will also make you wish to stay there forever. The cold breeze, breathtaking waterfalls, dense trees, and the pleasant weather in the month of November sets the perfect mood. It is also known as the Kashmir of the south and is one among the favorite places of the adventure and trekking enthusiasts.

Thank me later pals! Go plan your vacations and create some beautiful memories!
